I operate a taxi service with the area and with a delayed flight late on a Sunday night the owners of the Lychgate were on hand via phone so I could inform them that the customer was with me and in transit , they had emailed the customer but she hasn't received her emails at the time and was panaching that she wouldn't be able to check in, flying from Munich she was at peace of mind knowing I could get hold of the B&B so late in the evening. What a wonderful hotel. Janice was so welcoming and helpful from booking to when we left. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, we loved the little touches. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Location was great, close to the castle and pub. I would highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely come again. Thank you Janice from Lindsay & Russ
Fantastic B&B, best I've ever stayed in. Rooms are lovely, with loads of little added touches such as fresh cake on arrival, sweets, biscuits etc. I hope I have a need to stay again in the future. Oh mustn't forget the breakfast, I'm really going to miss those full Welsh breakfasts in the mornings!
What a little gem of a place and Janice could not be nicer, more helpful, more accommodating, more flexible and welcoming. The beds are by far the most comfortable I have slept in (after my own!). It was a privilege to have such wonderful accommodation and we only wished we could have stayed longer. A truly great nights sleep. Thank you !
