My husband died very suddenly in April 2018. It has taken me until now to be able to put into words the way I felt from the minute I met Jo Hume. I had no previous experience of organising a funeral. My husband had already chosen Ian Watts and son and left clear instruction's about how his funeral should be. Jo came to my home and made all of his wishes a reality and a few more besides. It is not appropriate to call a funeral things like wonderful. But it was so amazing that it helped me to move on. Everything the venue, music, priest, readers,flowers were amazing and exactly what Edwin would have wanted. Everyone who attended was overwhelmed by the day and said they had never been to a funeral of that standard. Carried out with.such love respect and dignity. I felt like I was held throughout those days and the support goes on. With a service at Christmas and recent bereavement coffee morning offering guidance from cruise. I will never forget what Ian Watts and son and Jo did for me and my family at that terrible time.

Having been in the Forest of Dean for only ten months my husband died suddenly. Not knowing the reputation of any of the local funeral directors I chose Martin Watts. This firm is outstanding. From the first meeting to the end. Martin is kind, empathetic, dignified as is the entire team. Extremely understanding and listens to the wishes of the family and is highly professional. The funeral itself was again carried out by the same professionalism and commitment.
